KL Cleeton is a paraplegic member of the poker community and creator of the software Range Trainer Pro.
When Veronica put out a GoFundMe for her attorney fees for the Postle case, she stated that any funds she had remaining, or funds she would receive back in the form of a judgement would go towards a van for KL to help him in his travels. These special vans can be super expensive.
Veronica used her connections and popularity to put together a charity stream for KL on Sunday and brought any many popular poker players on to talk to and/or roast KL and Veronica.
Their goal was $75k total.
Bill Perkins said he would match all donations up to $25k.
People that joined the live stream included:
Phil Hellmuth, Johny Vibes, Andrew Neeme, Jeff Platt, Ryan Leng, David Tuchman, Bart Hanson, Landon Tice, Brandon Shack-Harris, and many others.
Johny Vibes put out a tweet that he would donate $5 for every retweet, and was over 1700 retweets before he announced he would be donating $10k
In less than 24 hours, they raised the $75k for KL to get a van.
