From the tv Olympic ads you’d think the pandemic is ancient history.
Hard enough to host an Olympics at the best of times.
Gonna suck for Japan

It’s now an official shit show
Silver medal women’s 4 x 100 freestyle goes to Canada. Americans not so much
The reason for championing a silver medal was solely because they beat out bronzey America. Suck on it.
Also can’t wait to see Japan and Canada beat down on the Yuckees in baseball and golf respectively
Rugby/Rugby7-Olympics is retarded. We have hockey and Canadian football you fucking idiots. No need for such an abbreviated sport or jackasses on a skateboards
So what’s the deal? If you are East Coast what time is this on live? Trying to check out the Olympic Baseball tournament, maybe some track and swimming, soccer tournament
The CBC is a respected national broadcaster and are second to none when it comes to the Olympics
But I am watching the exact same diving shit I saw last night
I’m suing for 20g’s, thanks to counsel
I believe Japan is using the Olympics as a muse. Shit is about to hit the bidet

Storm heading towards Japan...wonder if they will have to pause the games.
Any of you NBA people wake up early today to watch USA/France? Set my alarm for it. I always enjoy seeing the US Olympic team, but I have some thoughts after today.
Good:
- Pop played Draymond and Jrue Holiday big minutes. With all this talent on offense, it's nice to have people who are great at D seeing big minutes.
- Minimal TV timeouts was the best. Move it right along.
Bad:
- Some people just are better NBA players. Lillard is one. Can't guard anyone. 1 on 1 type player who is basically thrown off what he does well because he feels like he has to share with everyone.
Weird:
- 5 foul rule. Basically took Durant out for 75% of the game. If he's guarding bigger guys this may keep happening.
So the elephant in the room is these international teams have played together for years and the US dudes just fly in and get on the court. These type of things go much better when there is a clear alpha player. 2008 Kobe, for example. I'm hoping they trend that way.
So I was thinking about how the US could fix this issue. What if the committee sat down and picked the best NBA team to go (when taking into account missing int'l players obviously). So Denver wouldn't be good b/c Jokic couldn't go. Lakers couldn't do it because Lebron and Davis are hurt and would say no. I know there is basically no pay, so it's just a fun thing that some rich stars don't want to do, but even if they sent, for example: Boston Celtics with Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, etc. Or Hawks with Trae Young, Huerter, John Collins. Then fill in int'l player spots with some comparable players from other teams. They would know each other, have plays, etc. Would win easy I'd think.
Canada showing up early. Maggie McNeil, golden swimmer. Beach volleyball looks like a walk in the park or a day at the beach
Women’s Judo, it’s done

What's this bullshit about Russians being allowed to compete even though Russia is banned? Either they're banned or not. Labeling them ROC and pretending it's not Russia is fucking GAY.
US shitting the bed, losing to France in basketball and Russia in volleyball.

PRESIDENT JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., THE GREAT AND POWERFUL
So yesterday, I tune in to watch and they're playing Ping Pong. How the fuck is Ping Pong a sport? What's next, Darts, Cornhole or Knock Hockey? Shit, the Winter Olympics has Curling, which is basically Shuffleboard on Ice.
Fuck this, I think you should have to have some type of Physical strength or endurance requirement to be considered a sport. And get off my lawn dammit!
Just venting. Carry on.
Solid proof now this guy is a solid egghead
Covid and the idiot
The women’s pair, bronze for little country that does but then there is this
