in fairly typical poker media fashion this article doesnt make sense.

one minute hes doing meth in college, then hes doing meth for the first time in prison.

at one point hes stolen 22m, but at another its 2.2m.

i did love that he binked $2m on an online slot then chunked it off in 48 hours tho, respect.

I think it was amphetamines in college and then meth in prison.

White kid from Cali in college it was likely Adderall/Dexedrine or whatever was popularly described for ADHD at the time.

At the end of 2017 he by his own words had embezzled 2.2m, but he kept at it till March 2019. He might have racked another 20m trying to impress big boys in 15 months.

Anyways they let him plead for 2.7m, so the real figure is whatever. You would think that the figure you get indicted for wouldn't be inflated, but that's not really how this ever works out.

The amount of prison time he could have faced was 200 years max.

So the story is a mix of two liars trying to negotiate a deal.
