The first Ghostbusters movie in 1984 was cool.
Ghostbusters II sucked.
The 2016 remake which was called "Ghostbusters" with an all-female cast was stupid shit.
I have hope for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
However movie theaters are dead.

This actually looks decent, even though they seem to be trying to capitalize on Finn Wolfhard's "Stranger Things" fame, by having him play a similar character here.
This is from the Wikipedia page:
I like it already.Director Jason Reitman has stated the film will ignore the events of 2016's Ghostbusters reboot directed by Paul Feig. Later, in February 2019, Reitman stated on a podcast that this film will "hand the movie back to the fans".
has nothing to do with this thread, but I just looked at Druff's avatar for a min
and the red donkey behind the head looks like blood spouting out of druff's neck and back after Micon and drexel stabbed him there at the DD close. I mean not exactly, but close enough....
Crap, now I can't unsee this.
BTW, I didn't really consider Brandon's actions back then to be "backstabbing", as he and I weren't good friends at the time. He was just a guy I knew through Micon, and did radio with. I knew he was Micon's best friend, and it wasn't a shock to see him supporting Micon. That's why I quickly forgave everything the following year when he came to me and apologized, and we've been friends ever since.
Now, some of the other people involved in that situation...
I liked the second movie too. Never saw the reboot.
I'm suspicious of the most recent movie but it gives me hope that Jason Reitman is directing and that they are not going woke by making it all trannies or something.
30 years from now Ghostbusters will be cancelled for being anti-ghost and anti-people who think they are dogs.

RIP Pacific Theatres. Watching movies at the Cinerama Dome was awesome.
