It is a nice house for sure, he showed pictures of it. Not sure why a couple in their 50s need a house that large. I think he said it was 5000 square feet. Makes sense it you have two young kids, but only two adults not sure. Unless they are big entertainers and throw a lot of parties, then I guess you can justify it. You aren't supposed to take fever reducers while you're getting the vaccine side-effects. They're said to interfere with your body's response to the vaccine.

My mom told me she got "the worst headache of her life" with the Moderna vaccine 2nd shot, but she forced herself to tough it out and take nothing. Given that I'm genetically half of her, I'm not liking my chances to avoid similar side effects, but I'll also just deal with what will be one of life's least pleasant days.

got vaccinated today pfizer. I feel fortunate that so far i have evaded the covid. I will however say I am shocked of the amount of people in Canada hiding under there beds triple masked. I have and will mostly obey the rules put out by the health authority until they start breaking there own rules. Very much hope the Canadian US border opens as we haven't been to our beach house in WA for 16 months... with hind sight we should have rented it out our neighbour rented there's our for 1700 per month, we did not realize the border would be closed for so long. sigh.

Got Moderna...first shot as nothing, second shot felt like the flu for a day, then I felt ok, took a short hike 2days later....what a mistake back to the flu...then ok the next day.

I got mine already as well although it was pfizer (supposedly worse side effects than J&J). I tend to have man colds but I had virtually no side effects from this aside from slight pain in arm for a few hours which is typical of just about any vaccine.

A few interesting points.

-They can't really explain why some people have side effects. But it tends to be younger people in 20s or 30s. Elderly rarely have any side effects.
-Whether you have side effects is not correlated with how well it works.
-The second dose is apparently when you really feel it. So if this was your first dose prepare for a hell of a second one.

So seeing today that the Johnson & Johnson 1 shot is giving people blood clots possibly, and some but not in very large numbers yet, bad negative side affects happening from it now. 1 person may have died, but I know its so statistically improbable that I wouldn't overthink this myself, actually. It really does actually come down to the Risk/Reward Calculus of it al for me, entirely in my mind. And what I think actually is best for me long run.
