I believe. the BAT rewards go to the sites you use.....I thought We rcvd them ,then I thought I saw a breakdown of sites I visited and PFA was a amongst them...??

Look at the settings. You have to turn on the Brave rewards.

I collect about 5 BAT a month while browsing. Tiny ad will pop up in the lower right corner. You can click on it and it will open a browser page or just close it. I believe you get paid whether you open it or not.

They are non intrusive really.

been using Brave for a while on all my computers and phone. I do not enable rewards because no amount of shitcoin is worth having the internet ruined by ads. I just use Brave because it's Chrome with better defaults. Was on Firefox forever but they fucked up my extensions with an update a year or so ago and I realized how much faster chromium browsers were that day.
