My very close friend is friends with the girl that owns the place right next to the Gold Spa which is near (south) Buckhead and north of downtown Atlanta.

If anything is to be criticized here, it would be the church involved (and other churches like it) which repress sexuality to the point where some people go crazy from the crushing guilt. Most don't go out and kill people, but I'm sure a ton of people have had their lives ruined or hindered by being told that their sexual desires are evil or deviant. In this case, it didn't even involve gay sex. This kid was made to feel bad for wanting sex with women while not married!
I'm not making excuses for him. He's a horrible murderer who deserves the death penalty.
However, it would be helpful to shame these churches for these sorts of teachings.

Even if this guy did hate Asians, the killings weren't racist. The killings were because of sex addiction and religious guilt, and he targeted Asian brothels, likely because they were the biggest source of temptation for him.

The libs done screwed up by bringing attention to anti-Asian racism and anti-Asian violence.
Violence against Asians (not committed by other Asians) has long been committed by black people. If you look at the numbers, and adjust for percentage of population, it's not even close.
Racism against Asians has indeed been committed by white people -- but not the white people they want you to think are doing it. It's white people on the left, both in hiring and college admissions, who are screwing over Asians because of the color of their skin. An interesting study on Harvard admissions showed that affirmative action did NOT hurt white people -- it was neutral on them. However, it hurt Asians badly, as they were the ones disproportionately non-accepted despite being highly qualified, and their spots were given to other minorities with lesser qualifications. Straight up racism right there.
Both of these facts have been true for decades, but the left has decided to make an issue of it, and wrongly blame anti-Asian racism/violence on white supremacists.
If you dare point out these facts to the left, you typically get back, "Well, what about all those people saying mean things to Asians after Trump called COVID 'The China Virus'?"
Also, for decades there has been long-simmering hate between the Asian and black communities. Of course, the left and the media completely ignores this. They used to cover it occasionally, but during this recent conversation, they have been making it look like a problem of white supremacy, which of course isn't at all the case.
The truth is that there's a lot of racist Asians who hate black people, and a lot of racist black people who hate Asians. There are various reasons for this which I won't bother getting into, but suffice to say that race-based violence against Asians is more likely to be committed by black people than white people.
