I thought the first segment was strange. You were even-handed, and I didn’t find you harsh to the girl, but while casually listening I kept waiting for you to explain what she was disagreeing with. You kind of implied you’d get to what she was furiously messaging you about, yet I don’t think you ever did. Did I miss it or did you simply choose to not get into it? I was genuinely curious what she was taking issue with. I heard the small mention of her disagreement about the $2k a month, but it sounded like she had problems with a lot more than that. Maybe all her dm’s were regarding affiliate deal.

I thought I read the DMs she sent, or at least the ones relevant to what I was saying. I know for sure I read the one she wrote about Daiva Byrne (another GG pro) who she said was hired for the female outreach program, and claimed that was the reason she was mad at Daiva for staying silent. (Vanessa was frustrated that I didn't know Daiva was the female outreach hire, which to me doesn't change much.)

One of the DMs, which I also thought I read, said, "This is work I completed 2 years ago - implying that I should be refusing payment for my work and putting it into their pocket voluntarily is absurd."

That's generally her position. She feels that because she made these referrals in 2019, and because the agreement was to keep giving her a percentage of that rake, it's not fair to yank that away now. I disagreed with that, saying that if one of the terms was that you can't disparage GG, then she's been knowingly violating it, and therefore isn't entitled to it now.

However, she also clarified: "But I don’t care I lost the income, I want transparency however on how they are reacting towards a woman who has valid criticisms of their company."

I'm not sure if I read that one on air. I don't really understand what "transparency" she's looking for, though. I think they've been transparent here -- just many don't agree with their decisions. I agree that they handled it poorly, but in my opinion, her expectations were unrealistic.

Anyway, the segment went longer than I intended. That's probably why you don't remember some of the DMs I read on air, since I blabbed on so long about the whole thing.

Also it looks like she got frustrated with me and turned the show off, and didn't respond to my DM the next day, where I gave her the timestamp of the portion where I took GG to task for some of their mistakes. So I have to imagine she's not happy with me right now.

Whatever. I still have no problem with her, even if she doesn't like me now. As I said on the show, I think GG would be unhappy with me if they heard the segment, too. That's what happens when you refuse to take either side fully in a dispute.

Ok. I was doing stuff so I probably missed that first part. I thought she was objecting more to the version you were telling or commenting on the other poker players opinions. It sounds more like the business end was her objections

It’s pretty clear cut the company simply decided he was worth the headache. Not much else to it. I agree with your opinion on him. He’s never impressed me. I don’t get the whole I’m a ladies guy who pays girls to hang out thing. He seems fine, and theyre nice to look at, but he’s just a trust fund kid and any trust fund kid with one as big as his was could pay pretty porn girls to hang out. Never have got the appeal beyond the girls are hot and he likes to blow shit up and shoot guns. I mean I’d like to be at his parties if I lived there because I’m sure they’d be fun, but it isn’t like he’s actually accomplished anything beyond burning up dads money. Fun gig if you’re born into it.

That's pretty much exactly my impression of him.

I've seen some of the parties he's had, including one for his fail marijuana company, and they look fun, filled with tons of hot chicks, good food, and high end entertainment. 100% I'd love to go to one of those if I got invited somehow, but otherwise he's not someone I find all that interesting. I remember thinking he was odd when I met him in January 2007, before anyone knew who he was.
