Probably correct. For my entire life, I've had no desire to alter my mental state in any way, and hate the feeling of loss of self-control and feeling of normalcy. I was even concerned about this regarding the propofol being administered for my colonoscopy.

I asked the anesthesiologist to give it to me in a (safe) way which would put me out the fastest, and not leave me in any "middle" state between sleep and awake. She said that many people enjoy the "euphoric" feeling in between. I told her I don't want that, and simply to be put out fast, so she said that she could simply give it to me faster, and I wouldn't feel it. Indeed, once adminstered, I felt nothing for 10 seconds, then abruptly felt tired/dizzy, then a second later I was completely out. Exactly what I wanted.

The good thing about this is that I'm one of the least likely people in the world to become addicted to drugs. It not only lacks appeal, but the thought of it is actually unappealing.

This is also why I don't drink.
