I'm legit shocked at how many people qualified, given the site fails with the marketplace. So despite all that, at least 163k people still qualified. When I saw my number pop up, I wondered if I was actually lucky, or if there just weren't that many people in line. Guess I was lucky again.
We're all late to the game. I'm not surprised there are 163k people with at least one moment.
They just had 3 releases with 60k per release, and you could only get one pack.
It's still exciting/fun, but over time I think the base set moments will drop to $5 or even lower, and much like physical sports cards in the 2020's only the rare/short printed shit will be worth a lot.
I assume there were far more than 160k, think of all the people that have money stuck on the site. Why wouldn't they try to get in on this?
I just noticed, the page says there's currently 170K people still in line.
I opened my Seeing Stars pack. The value of my only decent moment was $150 but now is down to $116.
I'm kinda thinking I should just open this one and sell my moments as soon as I can. Does that sound like the smartest play? How long does the marketplace tend to stay closed after the event?
The whole thing seems like a bit of o Ponzi/Pyramid scam, which of course it is. That's ok, like someone said, we're probably all too late, but you can make really good small time $ by getting in on all the drops.
Interesting how I'm reading poker Twitter and everyone bragging (including Willie and PLOP) got spots between 27,500 and 30,500.
That includes me, as well.

Please post all your moments. Im having withdrawl already.
I got Nickeil Alexander-Walker for my rare (1841/2021).
Not sure if that's good or bad.
Semi-rare was Devin Booker.
