I was 7 minutes after that.

I'm legit shocked at how many people qualified, given the site fails with the marketplace. So despite all that, at least 163k people still qualified. When I saw my number pop up, I wondered if I was actually lucky, or if there just weren't that many people in line. Guess I was lucky again.

I consider myself lucky. Had to buy a card this morning which at first seemed impossible.

Goes pretty fast, I'm already down to number 10,983.

We're all late to the game. I'm not surprised there are 163k people with at least one moment.

They just had 3 releases with 60k per release, and you could only get one pack.

It's still exciting/fun, but over time I think the base set moments will drop to $5 or even lower, and much like physical sports cards in the 2020's only the rare/short printed shit will be worth a lot.

Ya those will only be bought by someone trying to make a complete set.

I assume there were far more than 160k, think of all the people that have money stuck on the site. Why wouldn't they try to get in on this?

For those who've opened packs, are you holding or have you sold-off? Druff, did you sell or keep your Seeing Stars pack unopened...if unopened, I guess you bought a cheapie card on the market today?

Ya I bought a $13 card this morning.

Depending on what I get, I might sell one of the mid range cards to pay for the pack.

I opened my Seeing Stars pack. The value of my only decent moment was $150 but now is down to $116.

I'm kinda thinking I should just open this one and sell my moments as soon as I can. Does that sound like the smartest play? How long does the marketplace tend to stay closed after the event?

The whole thing seems like a bit of o Ponzi/Pyramid scam, which of course it is. That's ok, like someone said, we're probably all too late, but you can make really good small time $ by getting in on all the drops.

Interesting how I'm reading poker Twitter and everyone bragging (including Willie and PLOP) got spots between 27,500 and 30,500.

    That includes me, as well.

I would also open it and sell it asap. If you can get $3k for the rare card right away, isn't that the play?

Unless you're looking to keep them long term, I don't see how getting 10-20x on your money is bad play.

    Yeah that's what I'm thinking.

I already gave Benjamin instructions on how to withdraw, if I'm not still alive to do it when finally available in 2040.

I got Nickeil Alexander-Walker for my rare (1841/2021).

Not sure if that's good or bad.

    Semi-rare was Devin Booker.
