I thought there was already a related thread but I couldn't find it. If there is, then bump it and I'll move this over.

Greatest, favorite, one's you like...you know the drill.
Anything to contribute Tine?
"These pretzels are making me thirsty"
my contribution is this:
qualifying greatness by what has the largest social footprint is not a measure of greatness at all, but a measure of what appeals most broadly to people with categorically mediocre taste.
how about "100 movie quotes that pander to the sensationalist appetites of drunk and neglected housewives" as a more suitable title video title?
To clarify these were greatest movie threats not greatest movie quotes.
...and how did Keanu Reeves get up in there? lol.
Lucy Liu and Joe Pesci are personal fav's.
They've done studies you know, when a person uses the term categorically they are generally lying. Tine, is this true? Are you categorically denying these charges?
Sonatine must be having a bad day.
Instead of ignoring or contributing in a meaningful way we get a cynical and pompous diatribe on our general lack of sophistication.
That's ok tine, just watch Tombstone today and your outlook will improve.
declaring something unsophisticated is neither pompous nor cynical when in fact the very thing is country fucking stupid.
you didnt even name the thread correctly.
choke yourself into oblivion on webcam next time youre feeling creative and want a receptive audience.
"Greatest Movie Quotes" was not a mistake. I started it by using quotes that were threats, but didn't feel the need to limit the thread to just threats. I didn't think this needed explaining but apparently I was wrong.
Honestly I thought the thread would just be a placeholder until someone bumped a similar thread and I would have moved my original quote there.
great: of an extent, amount, or intensity considerably above average:
great: of ability, quality, or eminence considerably above average:
Starting with the definitions I think using "great movie quotes" is applicable.
Also, saying "what appeals to people with categorically mediocre tastes" is you placing a qualification on the topic
and is definitely a pompous statement and everyone knows you're an ass.
