To anyone who lives in Texas, that contributed to one of the 100 "SF is a shitty place to live" threads (no pun intended)
FUCK YOU
This is what "deregulation" gets you,
No heat, People Dying, 6k electric bills & Jerry Jones and the Comstock CEO cashing in on it all.
This is what Lying in politics gets you.
Liars lie so they never have to own up to anything.
What do the Pols do? Lie and deflect blame, Blame a NY congress women?
So what are supposed to believe that Texas, of all places, signed the green new deal on their own, behind everyone's back? GTFO
Now it is Biden's fault? per Kudlow.
This is D_E_R_E_G_U_L_A_T_I_O_N.
I get that you people are afraid of the word socialism, (how this word offends you more than fascism I'll never get)
If there was no socialism we wouldn't have roads and shit.
& I'll never buy that Bernie trying to get people a living wage &/or AOC getting everyone healthcare is going to lead to communism.

So what you see with the Socialists today is the Banning and Demonizing in the News and on Social media of everyone who thinks different than they do. And you're ok with that?
I think we should force Jimmy G. to watch a loop of every awful interception from the year Kaepernick got benched and lost his job to Blaine Gabbert. Then force him to watch videos of Gabbert celebrating the Bucs Super Bowl win (something Kaepernick will never do.)
Guy signed up for Griddy...a company that bills you the wholesale price, generally its cheaper than retail except during the summer heat. They even told their customers to switch to another provider due to the impending storm...not sure why he didnt switch. In this case its not gouging just unfortunate...
Uh, oh. This WSJ doesn’t look good for Texas voters, who seem to have been sold a massive bill of goods when they were convinced to accept deregulated electric service some 2 decades ago.
Texas Electric Bills Were $28 Billion Higher Under Deregulation
Competition in the electricity-supply business promised reliable power at a more affordable cost

“Yeah, free markets!”
The problem in Texas is people are lazy.
They just let whomever their provider is go on an on even after their contract is over.
It’s super easy to comparison shop and get low rates...but most people are clueless.
I use a spreadsheet to calculate the best deal based on my electrical usage....it’s amazing the vast difference between the cheapest and most expensive....
The pipes at night will freeze real tight deep in the heart of Texas
The electric bill it's enough to kill deep in the heart of Texas
It irks my head that damn fool Ted had to depart from Texas
The wetbacks freeze fall on their knees deep in the heart of Texas
And it ain't cool the governor's a fool deep in the heart of Texas
