I’m sure like many, these silly Annie Duke books and the fact that many folks with good reputations give her shoutouts is very annoying.

Classic academic who makes a living doing “research” about something that she can’t pull off in practice. Thank the Lord for her 2004 TOC SNG. Aside from Moneymaker, highest ROI from a single tournament after the fact.

I work a corporate job and each year we have a client conference with speakers, etc. The internal committee was strongly considering Duke to be a speaker last year. I wouldn’t have the balls to embarrass her on the job. Ever since then I started dreaming of embarrassing her at one of these speeches about her shady past and huge failures.

I happened to be in the Horseshoe playing 10-20 Omaha 8 when Annie Duke won the WSOP Omaha 8 event in 2004. Some guy came down the escalator, walked by our table, and said
