This happened in November and this clown posted six links like it was some breaking news event? Omg, CNN suppressing that half a beer three months ago arrest!

To be fair, it was initially reported that it happened just after the commercial aired. The November thing came out later.
Also, this is being treated as a fairly big deal by Jeep. They pulled the ad from YouTube! I think it's a bad look because they're a car company, and the already-controversial ad featured a celebrity recently arrested for reckless driving.
It's possible these charges are exaggerated, and Bruce was simply going 50 in a 20mph zone with nobody else around, in an isolated area of the park. Then they found him with alcohol and a small amount of it in his bloodstream, and it was enough to arrest him, given the strict rules there.
Still, it's an interesting sidestory to a dishonest commercial full of phony virtue signaling.
Bruce probably got at least 3 million for two days of filming a commercial that woke ass Jeep is not going to use now.

Actually, there is some new evidence that he was pretty hammered. Fox news is Reporting: Bruce Springsteen DWI arrest documents show singer first refused breath test, 'smelt strongly of alcohol'. Additionally, the ranger claimed to have observed the musician "consume a shot of Patron tequila" before getting on his motorcycle to "start the engine." Hayes claims he informed Springsteen, a New Jersey native, that drinking on the park premises "is prohibited."
"The Patron bottle that the shot was poured out of was completely empty (750ml)," the ranger also writes. "I asked Springsteen if he was leaving and he confirmed that he was going to drive out of the park."
Hayes claimed Springsteen reeked of alcohol. "[He] smelt strongly of alcohol coming off his person and had glassy eyes," the report states.
The ranger continues that Springsteen "claimed that he had two shots of tequila in the last 20 minutes."
Bruce Springsteen was arrested back on Nov. 14, 2020 in his home state of New Jersey for three citations, including DWI. (AP)
The ranger also said he "observed four out of six clues on the horizontal gaze nystagmus test." The musician was "visibly swaying back and forth while I observed his eyes," Hayes said. "I observed five out of eight clues on the walk and turn test. Springsteen took 45 total steps during the walk and turn instead of the instructed 19. [He] refused to provide a sample on the preliminary breath test."

'I wonder if it had anything to do with his politics': Alec Baldwin suggests park ranger arrested Bruce Springsteen for drunk driving because he is a liberal. Really, I though Springsteen says he was in the middle. ROTFL.
Full Story here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...n-liberal.html
yes a little known lifehack is that you can drive drunk if you have a Trump bumper sticker on your car. cops won't touch ya!
I've never heard Springsteen make a positive comment about conservatives.

Imagine if Jeep had hired Scott Baio or James Woods to do a commercial about meeting in the middle.
Imagine how much you'd laugh at that.
That's how ridiculous it looked for Springsteen -- a lifelong outspoken Democrat -- to star in a commercial like this. Like, at least get a celebrity without known outspoken politics.
The DUI is whatever. That shit happens all the time, and I'm not going to condemn him like he's the world's worst person for letting that occur. But it was fitting that this awful, phony, disingenuous commercial was derailed by the DUI story, because it was fucking obnoxious.

Bruce Springsteen DWI, Reckless Driving Charges Dismissed at Hearing
Maybe for no other reason then just the LOL in it, my favorite part of that piece was this...
"When asked how long he needed to pay the fine, Springsteen told the judge, “I think I can pay that immediately, your Honor.”
Yeah Bruce Springsteen needs a payment plan to pay that $500, lmfao very solid troll there your honor L O L......
I have no problem with this. He was 0.02, well under the 0.08. Yes, you could say he got a pass because he is rich and famous. But at the end of the day, his plea to a lesser charge is about right. Especially, because the DWI charge likely would not have been a conviction.
Springsteens attorney Mitchel Ansell is actually working for my sister now.
The Ansells are my family's attorneys they are so heavyweight and so powerful in NJ that doesn't surprise me to learn this. So it's not surprising to me that Mitchel Ansell is Springsteen's Attorney. He was also very recently the President of the Monmouth County bar, which is where that National Park he was arrested at is located. So he basically hired the ex President of the County bar he was arrested in (lol) but the Ansell's in general are the best well known and so, 'high profile' attorneys in Monmouth County N.J which is also where Bruce Springsteen is from and lives of course. So that isnt surprising, he has the heavyweight name at the least =)...
Ansell Zaro Grimm & Aaron used to be the name of the firm, but I think after becoming the President of the Monmouth County Bar Mitchell may not be in that family based firm anymore. And actually it started with their dads the first generation Ansell's. If you ever need a N.J very very, heavyweight attorney those are the ones. State Attorneys know with a doubt they have their hands full when an Ansell is showing up against them in court, big time. They are not an easy out or Law firm to deal with, lol the Ansells are a very big deal Legally in NJ there....
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/24/n...steen-dwi.htmlIn dismissing the charges, prosecutors noted that Mr. Springsteen’s blood alcohol level was 0.02 percent, well below New Jersey’s 0.08 percent legal limit.
“The defendant would be considered presumptively not impaired,” the assistant U.S. attorney, Adam Baker, said during the 22-minute hearing.
Removed the trolling from this thread.
Don't hijack it with shit, please.
lmao at someone hiring chachi for super bowl ad
Well what you said was "You will not find this on CNN. They've ordered a Blackout on the story for now.....", which obviously wasn't true. They ran a story on it and actually ended up being a source for dozens (hundreds?) of local news outlets across the country.
"They were 10 hours behind and you had to search for it" is not the same thing. Also, according to this archive from 9:09 AM EST on Feb 10th (5 hours before you created this thread), they had the story linked under trending at the top center of their page: https://web.archive.org/web/20210210...edition-picker
(The next archive from 5:39 pm, Bruce Springsteen was still top center of their home page)
And by 5 am (that's the next available archive) they had the headline on their front page about 2/3 of a page scroll down ("Bruce Springsteen" was still top center). https://web.archive.org/web/20210211...edition-picker
It looks like TMZ broke the story at 6:45 am. So that's less than 2.5 hours, possibly much less that went by before cnn had it on their front page.
I think it's safe to conclude that when you said 'You will not find this on CNN. They've ordered a Blackout on the story for now.....' you were indeed spreading fake news about the 'fake news' network.
