Bill to use Facial Recognition being labeled as racist. I'm guessing same software as used in casinos to catch cheats. Can see the guy who tried to bite eye out after she refused to accept purchase of bottle of wine for her. Its already in use. People in the Washington dc Insurrection were identified with this technology.

Calling the technology 'racist' is reductive but it is better at identifying whites, as the neural networks are trained to identify facial structures that are more pronounced in whites.

Why would you link the cbsny story to this thread? Businesses have been using CCTV for many years for obvious reasons. Prejudicial claims made about facial recognition software do not relate to local crime scene videos.Originally Posted by FRANKRIZZO

Ok we're in a time delay. Right, understood. But local cops have been using CCTV for decades because they know Johnny, just released, looks a lot like that guy. Nothing to do with racism
