Pretty much every culture/ethnicity has attractive women.

The only country/culture you never see anyone express having a preference for is American.

Our women don't rate.

That's because they are turning themselves into men and defacing themselves with full body tattoos and 600 piercings and soldering shit to themselves and who the hell knows what else.

I find all of this to be very unattractive. Maybe it's just a generational thing, as none of this was happening when I grew up, but I have to imagine that I wouldn't have liked it even if I were a lot younger.

Something also interesting is that it's been found that sex is WAY less important to young American men these days than 20-30 years ago. Some blame it on smartphones (it's easier to distract yourself, so you think about sex less often), some blame it on porn (too easy to get, guys become addicted to it and don't seek real sex), and some blame it on the repeated message hammered into young men that showing any interest equals "sexual harassment".

I'm not sure what it is, but something has changed.

Just speculating but I really think it's linked to social media and all of us having the internet in our pockets.

I trend slightly introvert but have still really missed interacting with people in person throughout COVID; not sure that people 10+ years my junior feel the same.

See bolded. Exactly. None of a lot that is going on now is the same as when you grew up. It's nostalgic nonsense to imagine standards you knew growing up would remain the same. It's harder to imagine, I imagine if you grew up as a white privileged card holder
