They were discussing the oil pipeline running from Russia to Germany and the State Department spokesperson said 'This demonstrates that the legislative goals and our actions are having a good effect,'And because you are on one side and have liberal feelings, anything opposite of you is considered "wrong", correct? He defended himself by saying he was speaking only for the state department but imo 'legislative goals' implies he was speaking for the current administration. That pipeline specifically was something Trump bitched about, so it probably would have been better to acknowledge that.
