Rich white liberals love leftist principles, and they're even willing to pay higher taxes, as long as they can isolate themselves from the effects of their policies.
They love left-wing riots full of violence and destruction, so long as those riots stay out of their posh neighborhoods. If those riots do spill into their neighborhoods, they're the first to call the police.
They love soft-on-crime policies, giving violent criminals a second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth chance to "rehabilitate" and get out of prison early. However, they want the book thrown at anyone victimizing them or their family.
They want strict mask mandates on everyone else, as long as they can go without masks in public without anyone saying anything.
They're happy to keep pacifying the teachers union in a rapidly degrading public school system, as long as they can send their kids to private school.
They're happy to allow illegal immigrants to flow into the country, as long as those illegals stay out of their neighborhoods.
Liberal men are happy to shout that trans women are equivalent to natural/cisgender women, but they'll never date a trans woman.
The whole thing is just a giant exercise in virtue signaling and lip service.
