Driving to the strip yesterday I hit a spot of about 50 yards with easily 8 inches of water on the highway. Luckily I was driving my truck so it didn't really affect me, but man o man, that shit was crazy. Never seen it like that in the 11 years I've been here. Coming home at the 15-215 entrance going eastbound there is a spot to the left where there is a large, huge flat area between the highways with no landscaping or anything and is bowled in between everything... It was literally a lake.

We've had 2 rainstorms just this summer that dropped 4+ inches in just over an hour. Now that's a rainstorm.

I love how when somebody tells a story about how the weather is and everybody else has to comment on how where they live there weather is much worse. Its fucking Vegas People its in the middle of the fucking desert.
