Remember Canadian poker pro Vanessa Kade, who was recently called a "hoe" by Dan Bilzerian?
Yesterday she dropped a few tweets indicating that she's looking for love -- in the poker world!

She got a ton of responses to this, many of them cringey. Predictably, various lonely dudes popped up and said they fit her requirements. Others discussed whether it was wise for her to date other poker players. There were others who gave her a hard time, claiming that she was being too picky, and that she was putting down men in poker as a whole.
Will Jaffee, who got loads of accolades for his "tough convo" video aimed at Bill Perkins a few weeks ago, decided to release another:

Jaffe followed up with a parody tweet of Kade's, and it got hundreds of likes:
Seemed that Will wasn't the only Jaffe bothered by this. Jared Jaffee followed up with a parody tweet of Kade's, and it got hundreds of likes:

The poker world was overwhelmingly on Kade's side during the Bilzerian "hoe" thing, but she did over-milk the situation a bit with too much outrage, and she lost some people's sympathy. However, it did bring more of the public's attention to her, as she was a semi-unknown prior to that.
I did find her tweet to be a bit tone deaf -- basically saying, "Hi, me and my female poker friends are really great catches, is it possible to find a few dudes in poker who aren't complete losers, ugly, or addicts?"
As I said in the other thread, people I know who have met Vanessa have all had good things to say about her.
