They were already doing it in some states, but now all Comcast territories will have a 1.2TB data cap. Most users won't hit that, but if you stream a lot or download a lot, you could hit it. Basically if use 40GB of data per day, you will break through it.
Comcast was already notorious for being the worst of the major cable companies.

It was previously capped at 1 TB here, before they felt "generous" and raised it to 1.2 TB after the pandemic hit.
My household went over the old cap a few times, and still come pretty close to this one regularly.

So you're saying you need to cut down on your Porn Hub downloads?
Did some looking around, apparently what prompted this move was some guy recently downloaded Flight Simulator 2020 and the massive gigabyte file slowed down the whole region, so this had to be done.
