Dodgers bullpen shit the bed today. They could have swept SD, as they had Bauer on the mound and were up 2-0, then 2-1 going into the 7th.

However, the Padres hit the bullpen for 4, and that was that.

Dodgers still 13-3 to start the year.

And don't look now, but the Yankees are in last place.

Do you think the people of Atlanta argue the BEST team in the 90’s?

Tonight is the 100th straight game the Todgers have been favored in, including the playoffs. That is the longest active streak, and the longest streak by any team in the last 5 years. Hope you’re taking the free stimulus $

Just realized how similar the sweet Padres odds were to last night. Kershaw was the best though.

To be fair ... and I’m nothing but fair.... I love Bauer. This thing between Tatis and Bauer is fantastic.

Padres Dodgers is the new Sawks Yankees without the passion of the fans. Still great for this day & age

    Interesting story with Dee Gordon.

He was looking for a job this winter. Nobody was taking. Reds finally signed him and then released him when they decided to go with Eugenio Suarez at SS.

Had to settle for a minor league contract with the Brewers a few days ago. Would've been nice to see him back home on the Dodgers, roids and all. He could havd been a perfect reserve / pinch runner / spot starter.

    Oh well.

It shouldn't have gotten this far.

    7-1 game, shoulda been over.

And once it's 7-5, how do you put Jimmy Nelson in to close?

The Dodgers "brain" trust is responsible for this fail if they don't come back in the bottom of the 11th, down 8-7.

It's an early season game. Bullpen is hurt and taxed. Give credit to the Padres for not mailing it in. Dodgers had a chance to blow this game wide open early and left the bases loaded a few times against Musgrove. Had under 3.5 in first 5 and Padres +120. Somehow I might win both.. This season series might have me watch every game start to finish.

Saw where you asked me about AP on another thread Druff.. Played as Celtic33, Padre19, Owdogg and I was multi accounting before it was a big deal. Played a lot of PLO and O8 back then but I'm sure we played some of the 10-20 and 20-40 limit together.

I make a lot of prop bets. The only thing you and I have is The Who goes further- Clippers or Lakers for Ruth Chris correct?

The umpiring this entire series has been dreadful. Equally bad for both sides.

The tv tandem for the Padres, Don Orsillo & Grant, were downright funny when Padres got a favorable call.

    Just awful.

Must be a MLB sportsbook promotional tie in

Padres bullpen is vastly better Padre. Jansen high wire acts like last night are grand entertainment though. Still think Price is your best closer option.

    Having said that, Seager>Tatis.

I may change my mind later. Tatis is hurt

Like I said, Reds live dog vs Uranus.

Dodgers bullpen definitely the one weak spot this year.

They also need Bellinger back. Oh, and I know Will Smith started today, but they should never start Barnes when the team is missing big bats from the lineup. Smith hits so much better.

Smith got the ever-lovin shit kicked out of him behind the plate past couple of games. I don’t know how many bats hit his helmet on the follow through this series. Kid’s squash definitely got dented. Even the Padres announcers were calling him a warrior. He probably couldn’t move this morning.

Nice hit Sanlmar! Great series, I'm in on Reds tomorrow too. Dodgers have to be hungover. It seems like I'm always fading Urias and he usually is taking a shutout into the 6th.

Also I noticed a ton of missed calls on balls and strikes. Pitches that were outside and never had a piece of the plate and ump is ringing them up. Both sides had to be pissed at times.

Bless you Padre. Reading this I feel a tear of nostalgia welling up in my eye.

I believe you will find evidence of me fading Urias when he first got called up as an alleged “phenom” in 2016. I was present at the birth of Urias fading. I killed it back then. He was a nightmare as he dicked around refusing to throw strikes. More money has been made than lost in subsequent seasons.

    Another over rated Dodger.

Years later he’s become competent and Dodgers bettors are less enchanted. It’s not as fun or profitable as it once was.

I stumbled on some Bauer training videos as I was preparing for this season. His father was a pitching coach, which I didn’t know. I remember Bauer gave a lesson to a college age woman in a YouTube video. She played baseball. I don’t know her story. It was a fascinating insight into Trevor Bauer though. A lot of guys can play but are too dumb to teach. Maybe they don’t even understand their success. Again, Bauer, the son of a pitching coach, has a huge baseball IQ.

There was the controversy with stick ‘um and he was winking at the cameras one game this year. Suddenly his spin rate jumped 400. He was taunting the Commissioner in a real game. The balls on this guy. He wants the game cleaned up. MLB pulled his balls and .... of course, silence.

I personally believe Bauer was the guy who first blew the whistle on Astros in a video where he said he was going out to play poker and showed a device under his shirt. How ironic is it that Bauer is now on the team that was told about the Astros and chose to ignore the warnings. Dodgers.

Bauer is god. He knows exactly what is going on and he’s smart as fuck. Very un-Dodger-like. There will come the day when he hurls a baseball over the center field fence in Chavez Ravine. The perennial playoff chokers are gonna piss him off.

We can talk about the 60 game exhibition season last year if you like. The only team that did not miss games because of Covid.

High IQ Dodgers. Short list. I have come around on Turner. I know. He should be running that organization. He’s fascinating. Not a great athlete and I’ve always wondered about him at 3rd but he’s wicked smaht.

It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Focus on the Reds 1st 5 derivative or mix that in.

    Has to be said.

It’s fascinating how slow the market has been to believe Sizzle

Forgot Marlins...who doesn’t have a soft spot for them now? Druff rode them more than once I see.
