I watched him for years as a Dodgers fan.
He basically has two modes -- terrible and great. Right now he's in "great" mode. Both can last for awhile. There have been times where he's an automatic out for an extended period of time, and you wonder why he's on the active roster.

Unusual heavy wind tonight at Dodger Stadium. Interestingly, the wind is calm over here, and while not close to the stadium, I'm in the LA metro area.
Scherzer super wild, and even fell over once because of the wind.

The under 7.5 was there and we saw the wind but just couldn’t trust Scherzer after 3 poor outings. Who knew what was going on with him?
Giants just a fraction better as they have been all season.
Dodgers are going to need to get their excuses ready if they lose tonight. Best team money can buy only has a World Series in a pandemic shortened season to show for everything so far.

The one weakness of the Dodgers is they can’t manufacture a run to save their lives. Kind of ironic, because Dave Roberts manufactured the most famous run in MLB history. I went to that 18 inning Dodger/Red Sox WS game with my mom, and she kept saying: “aren’t they going to bunt?” Lol.
They’ll bust out tonight. Hard to keep that great lineup down for 2 games, especially against a number 4 starter. This series deserves an epic game 5 in the best park in MLB, and it’s likely to happen.

You’re ignoring the elephant in the room tonight - Dodgers pitching. Like who? I know it’s Gonsolin but maybe we are surprised. I’m taking a chance with Buehler. He’s young and there is no tomorrow. Maybe Buehler is next out of the pen?
How were the Giants +188 last night? Dodgers -155 tonight without knowing the starter? That’s the stuff that fuels the Dodgers over rated meme.
