He's banned because he was providing no real content anymore except harassing me in every thread I'd post, and not even with any clever zingers. Just tired 1-liners he'd been using for years, almost out of muscle reflex than any coherent thought.
He will not be back. I did the ban/unban thing for many years, for the sake of forum entertainment, but it became tiresome, and he every time it degenerated into just a bitter attempt to ruin any enjoyment I have of my own forum.
Nobody else here would tolerate such shit on a forum they owned, and if you say you would, you're lying. He got a lot more chances here than anyone else would give him, given his behavior toward me.
It disappoints me that there are ingrates here who think I owe them a forum where some bitter manchild follows me from thread to thread and harasses me, while at the same time providing no other content. I ask very little of people here, and I even allow people to bash/troll me with no retaliation or restriction, hence the reason why anonymous cowards like Sloppy Joe are still here.
I've banned three people in the 8 years of this forum for harassing me: fluffer, Deal, and Tyde. All three were not banned until nearly their entire existence here became about harassing me for a long period of time.
Grow up and show some respect. This is my forum, and I'm not going to allow assholes to stay who are here just to ruin the place and upset me. We've had this discussion countless times. I tolerate way more here than almost anyone would. Fuck off if you think otherwise. And keep in mind that, while I won't ban you for stating otherwise, next time you come to me to do you some kind of favor here, I'll remember how much respect you seem to think I deserve.

He occasionally proves he's alive by posting vids on youtube that are either of unimpressive trump vehicle parades, unimpressive skylines, or vids of things on TV that get pulled via dmca notices within hours (shout out to E! Entertainment).

There are some members here who contribute very little, yet they're quick to chime in with a nasty troll comment in my direction if the opportunity arises. I won't miss any of these people if I ban them, nor will the forum suffer any real loss without them.
The rule of thumb I'll be using in 2021: The less you contribute to PFA, the less tolerance I'll have for you trolling me. For those who contribute relatively little to the overall conversation here, if you troll me and I find you rarely post much else, you're gone.
Before I was only doing this to the really persistent people like Deal and fluffer. Now I'm just going to flush anyone down the toilet who seems to exist here primarily to troll me, even if their doing so is on and off.
If you make good posts otherwise on at least a semi-regular basis, this doesn't apply to you. I'm aiming this at the people who really don't contribute here besides bashing me.
This doesn't include constructive criticism or political debate. I'm talking about nasty posts being made for the primary purpose of being insulting. If that's why you're here, you won't be around much longer.

The thing that has been distasteful in the past is that you let dwai go for months and months and months literally posting the same pic or meme, trolling without adding anything at all, but he wasn't trolling you, so it went on and on and on... Literal months of not adding anything to anything, but you let it fly for whatever reason.
Why not just just kill the trolls no matter who they aim for? Why give ppl a football field's worth of rope to hang themselves?
Why not moderate this fucking place finally in 2021? You don't have to do it strictly, but you can make this a decent place finally, if you so choose.

As an admin for a slower bulletin board, I find that if I update the "House Rules" and firmly enforce them, it works. PFA's rules below seem to be firm, just maybe not enforced lately...
However, the rest of the forums here are "serious business", where trolling or garbage are never allowed.
I will try to be mostly "hands off" with moderating those forums (especially The Bathroom Wall), but I don't want to see any of the following:
1) Pornography or "shock pictures"
2) People who are here only to ruin the forum with trolling or constant negativity
3) People who "take over" the forum by posting too many messages/threads or pick fights with everyone
4) People who are here to repeatedly hassle me personally or disrupt the forum. However, you ARE allowed to criticize or insult me, provided it doesn't it isn't obsessive or constant. You don't have to like me or be nice to me, but at least respect that I run this site as a hobby, so don't make it miserable for me.
5) Personal information. Don't post phone numbers, addresses, or workplace information. Also don't post anyone's full name or picture if they haven't made it public. Definitely do not post any information about anyone's family members, including pictures, names, or anything else about them.
6) Threats of violence of any kind.

Had I not shown up to "troll" neverwinpoker, it wouldn't have existed beyond a few weeks. The trolling wasn't even real trolling, but rather an extension of our trash talk at the Pokerstars table, which neither of us took seriously. I also brought a lot of real content there, which led to the site thriving. I'm not talking about banning any good, regular posters who also insult me sometimes. Just the worthless losers who contribute little besides insults against me.
I dont think Druff is the problem, its the members here. And I can say this because I've been here over 7 years mostly watching the place and posting once in awhile. Druff is a good admin.

I don't run this forum for attention, hence the lack of promotion, lack of monetization, and lack of centering any themes around myself. I try to act mostly as a user here, and not an owner or moderator. That's why I give people a long leash before banning or restricting them, even the worthless ones who are primarily here to bother me.
I appreciate each and every person who generates forum content here, even if they aren't pleasant to me personally. This isn't aimed at people like you.
This is aimed at the people whose main purpose here is to insult me, and not do much else. They're not welcome, and I'm going to more aggressively ban them in 2021.
