I will give Subway some credit on two items-
1. They revamped their menu with new sandwich names. This was a smart move.
2. They are now slicing their deli meats.
Again, Tier 2 at best, but I do like going there.
Wife had one bad Subway sandwich experience now refuses to go back. No Jersey Mikes near me but had it when we were in the area. It was very good but only gave us like half a wedge. I only get Philly Cheese and melted Tuna at the Subways never had a bad sandwich there.

For the Subway people- Not sure how new it is, but there is a Rewards program now at Subway. I downloaded the app and can just enter my phone number now at the check out pay/debit machine.

Jersey Mikes is good but super expensive and give you half a wedge only.
I got the hot Chipolte Chicken sub yesterday from Jersey Mikes, best hot sandwich I had in years and I have been to many New York delis in my life.
Anyone go to Port of Subs? They’re mostly in Nevada and a few CA locations.
I got turned off by Subway three years ago in New York. I watched the guy making my sub and he grabbed this pile of ham that was gray and had clearly been exposed and had gone bad and he was putting it into my sandwich. I said, hey stop, don't put that gray ham in there. He pretended not to hear me, so I repeated myself, louder. He finally grabbed some other ham from the fridge that looked normal, and put it into the sub.
Never went back to a Subway since.
To get my son some exercise I biked with him to subway since he likes it.
I haven’t had it in a year or so, and it was much better than I remember.
