    Favorite sub sandwich franchise?

What is your favorite local or national franchise place? Any particular sandwich you like?

Me- Togos and Quiznos are even. And dont see Blimpie out there much. Mr. Pickles is high end, but costs is worth it. Only 1 Port o' subs in all of California and its in far north Susanville.

See this thread I couldnt help but post this in haha....

So I have come to learn, that to some extent, I'm actually a pretty big "Sub snob" I guess haha.. It's gotta be the Jersey in me I guess because in New Jersey every local Pizza joint or there's even Sub Shops themselves in Jersey. But Subs are delicious and a big part of your annual diet in some ways haha.. But anyway, New Jersey has the best cold cubs obviously like, Ham/Salami/Capicola/Provolone with lettuce/Tomato/Onion and most importantly Oil and Vinegar we dont eat fn Mayo on Subs in Jersey, c'mon man. Oh and salt/pepper/oregano some good bread and you have the makings of what is a real, and delicious actually "Sub" haha. Yeah I expect a good sub and living in Florida LOL they have good subs down here, Subway, Firehouse, whatever else aren't actually, real or to my expectation sandwich shops haha..

Im digressing but you get the point, and freshly baked bread which in Jersey where im from usually comes from New York City or Brooklyn or somewhere at 4AM. Amazing everything, Board Head meat obviously etc etc..

o.k now im hungry and its only 9AM here haha.....

Oh and for all that reason I obviously prefer a "Jersey Mikes" subs especially cold ones, not bad Cheesesteaks either.

Funny enough because when I get me a Jersey Mikes sub down here in Florida, it sorta has become a little taste of home in a way for me lol. An actual good real sub. Funny story about Jersey Mikes but thats actually a sub store which is close to where im from 20 mins away. And I know and have actually eatin in the original and real Jersey Mikes, before they went all Corporate. Good Sub Shop, but everywhere is in that area usually. The pictures on the walls of the actual "Jersey Shore" are actually from where im from so home. Sea Girt, Bradley Beach, Lavalette all them places in the pictures on the walls at Jersey Mikes sub shops, are actually my old stomping grounds lol. And beachs I would go to religiously haha..

Being from the northeast you go to an Italian joint to get a Sub and they were “always” Awsome.

South Florida the answer here, and it kills me to say it, is Publix which is our main grocery store. That makes it a pain in the ass to get one.

I find all the franchise sub makers to be real shit. If you can’t make a decent meatball you are dead to me and all the franchises use “in the bag” frozen meatballs.

If anyone knows of a “franchise” That doesn’t I’d love to know.

garrett: Aside from a Jersey Mikes, well probably because the added home factor for me, Publix is actually a good sub thats actually where id go after Jersey Mikes for a decent sub here actually.

desertrunner: Love a good meatball sandwich. But Jersey Mike's version wasnt the best, low end.
