    Harden wants out of Houson

    https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/11/16...rooklyn-trade/

Looking to go to Brooklyn , what a lineup. Kevin Durant + Irving nice lineup. Turned down 50 mill a year. Never forget Spreewell complaining about a 17mill contract, that he had a family to feed and wasn't enough. Off course Spree had like 30 kids . Also tried to choke coach.

News changes fast in the NBA. He certainly wants out. More recent leanings have him to Miami and the Nets seem to not be likely, at least right now. He’s trying to pull an Anthony Davis with 2 full years remaining, so this one might take awhile and could go different directions. It’s not as direct as Davis only insisting on LA. Harden is open to other places.

Will be interesting to see what happens, I really don't know.

As good as he currently is, the Rockets had to be completely built around his offensive talent to succeed. They were also unwatchable for me; he's amazing but it's largely 1 on 5.

The Bucks just gave up three future 1sts and Eric Bledsoe for Jrue Holiday, and the Rockets rightfully want more than that: a load of future 1sts plus a young star at least.

Very few teams are in a position to fulfill that and some who are will pass on a superstar who has probably peaked, is known for being difficult, and will not age well according to the history of players known for partying and staying out late - unlike Anthony Davis, whom the Lakers rightfully gave up the farm for.

I dont watch pre season NBA but saw some highlights and Wall looks very explosive. I really thought he would be a shell of his former self but looks good.

If Christian Wood (and Boogie?) pan out too Rockets could actually be very good this year.

Very good ESPN article about how James Harden was granted absurd power on the Rockets, to the point of ridiculousness, and now the chickens are coming home to roost:
