It's called credibility. Major news organizations hire people with degrees in journalism and those journalists are held accountable for every story they report on. Likewise, these organizations are held accountable.
People without journalistic credentials don't understand the need for balance in every story. Every story must be presented with all sides accounted for.
This doesn't always happen when someone declares themselves a reporter.
A career is not at risk when checks and balances are not provided

To follow up I looked up the provider of the video posted by Andy Ngo and the one you re-posted. The initial report came from Scott Rudd who is employed by CapRadioNews as a "State reporter"
Now Mr. Rudd has no journalism degree to his credit, but, looking at his report I can tell you he has done a good job. His piece on the riots/violence spell out the problem
including viewpoints from all sides.
It is now clear that Mr. Ngo has cherry picked video from the initial piece, adding his commentary but ignoring many points made in the initial report.
