Thanks for the feedback. I also have a Redline X and it’s been pretty good so far. Not my favorite, like it a lot. The battery seems to last a long time between charges and the unit is really solid built. I also like the 1800 lumens boost option, I use it weekly with the dog potty duty.

    Any other feedback you like?

The strobe mode is headache inducing...ha

    Nice and compact.

You’re right about the rubber cover for charging...don’t trust it....don’t anticipate underwater use anyhow.

The reflection of boost mode off my pasty skin is blinding.

I don’t need strobe mode, but it is nicely hidden away on the lower paddle switch, hasn’t been an issue for me. I used use main switch for on/off and then toggle the smaller for high and boost.

As for that rubble USB, weak design, but ok.

    Any flashlight enthusiast (geeks) here?

Quick note- I think Druff made the right choice on the Streamlight HPL. Heavy duty, long last, durable, duel fuel, etc. I like the Pelican 7600, but gonna get a SL HPL as my next main light. The 7600 is ideal for law enforcement, but for outdoors and desert, the HPL might be best.

I sold the old house flashlight and upgraded to the NEBO Luxtreme and tested it out tonight in the pure rural country darkness. It really is this bright, like having a lightsaber in hand that goes 2000+ feet straight up...

How did I miss this thread? Flash lights are for boy scouts.
What you want for your badself is the Cyclops 199........ a spotlight.

Surprisingly it's not 199 dollars but it will easily render a enemy sightless is one or both eyes, regardless of skin colour.

You are correct. On the unit I have, the rubber cover is ok and stays put, but for the price, you'll really like this light. I just sent one to my relatives in AZ and they really like it so far. Nebo seems to make a nice light for the price and so far has stood behind their warranty as I had an issue with a Tango unit and they replaced it on the spot with a new one. Im happy.

Browning has some nice spotlights on the market with the model name of "High Noon". Im not sure who makes these lights for Browning, but the handheld USB and spot lights are very nice...

Dumb fuck, this thread topic is NOT political, it’s about flashlights. Get your radical emotions together and learn to separate topics and focus on their individual merit, not blend them. This is the problem you liberals, highly emotional on everything and no logical processing of topics.

Just purchased Redline X about 2 weeks ago. About $50 and it's super solid and super bright. USB chargeable is a great feature as well.
