The interesting thing with this one is that China's plan was to get her close to up-and-coming bigwigs in politics -- not existing bigwigs.
China realized that it's not that hard these days to identify rising stars within the political parties, so you can plant the seeds with them early, so nobody suspects anything.
That's exactly what this chick was doing. She ran off because they warned Swalwell, and presumably he acted suspiciously when he abruptly ended it with her, so she knew the jig was up.
I wonder who the two midwest mayors were that she banged.
I'm sure if pressed she will admit the sex-spying was just a front...
