3 years outside the acceptable range but honorable mention:

you literally picked the lamest song from a great album. At least go with How much a dollar cost or blacker the berry, wtf is wrong with u bro?
There is only one. Strawberry by Wussy.
I’m listening to In Rainbows rn and enjoying it thus far. Wussy is going to take some more time for me to appreciate, possibly.
Alt-J's debut is up there on the top ten list somewhere, if you like art school nerds. For those that dig Americana, Dave Alvin's Eleven Eleven is fantastic. Not a lot of bright spot rock albums these days.
like it feels so cliche saying this but this to no small extent altered the course of my life:
i mean, i 'liked' radiohead before i watched that video but i honestly did not understand that they might be one of the best living bands on this planet until after i watched it.
and then i worked it out that jonny greenwood, their lead guitarist, scored There Will Be Blood and a million other incredible film soundtracks and suddenly i realized that i had missed out on some real good times by keeping them out of my playlists.
like i dont know where to begin with this beautiful motherfucker.
i just dont.

prime???? spotify masterrace
I'm old now, mid 40s so I generally don't listen to anything before 1990. Every now and again I will listen to some rap tunes from Tupac, but those are generally in the car and obviously I turn the volume down when I get to a stop light.
If you are asking for a recent album I listen to it's generally The Fray (who burned out after one album) and Third Eye Blind. But outside of that it is 70s and 80s, especially Def Leopard who was without question the most underrated band in a generation. Same with Van Hagar (Not Van Halen, but post David Lee Roth).
I could not even tell you who the latest and greatest is today, although I see Country Music stars performing on and Fox and Friends in the morning and they are absolutely terrible. Except Charlie Daniels, RIP old friend.
Full stop:
Les? Really?
I erased what my point was. Three years beyond this topic does not qualify
I can go twenty years out of this time frame. Is that OK?
But don't ever say Radiohead's best is their last without opposition.
