Maybe defunding the LAPD and removing 150 million from their budget was a bad idea.

Don't forget the new DA is refusing to prosecute a ton of crimes, and has announced that policy.
And there's no cash bail anymore.
The left is so bad at crime and punishment.
Druff- You need to get your CCW in your county.
Everytime I go to L.A. I rarely see any police.
The LAPD are busy.
They are busy robbing drug dealers of their drugs and money.
The LAPD need to beat the shit out of more people and L.A. needs more riots.
Sneaky fuckers started the rise in murders in 2020 and even hid it to most major cities.
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021...-2020-why.html
But we all know it was the whatever the fuck happened in LA that caused all that everywhere.
It's the fucking pandemic. It's not rocket science.
The Right really sucks at numbers, logic and reading comprehension.
The budget that was cut by 150m has been in effect since last July. They've been forced to make do with 1,7b.
Yes, great time to cut the budget when crime is on the rise everywhere.
Also, the budget was actually cut as part of that outrageous "defund the police" campaign, which most people in the inner cities did NOT support. It was woke whiteys such as yourself who were advocating for this.
Also crime was on the rise in places like NYC before the pandemic. NYC had similar woke policies that have recently been implemented in LA. Stuff like no cash bail, no prosecution for various crimes (by policy), etc.
Total shocker that this leads to an overall rise in violent crime.
Also, I hate to tell you, but when crime is on the rise, you increase police presence, get tougher on crime, and get criminals off the streets. You don't decrease funding and eliminate cash bail.
That's from the first article, back in July."The conversations that we've been having today from reducing the LAPD budget and reallocating the money for social services to changing policing policies would not happen if it hadn't been for their efforts.''
Black Lives Matter LA co-founder Melina Abdullah says the cut is a first step, but "it does not reflect the kind of fundamental reimagining of public safety that's necessary to protect black life."
They actually removed $150m from the police budget for "social services" to "change police policies". You know... in the middle of rioting across the country, and in the middle of crime rates rising in all big cities. They DECREASED the budget to fight crime. LOL
The "social services" method was tried from the 60s through the early 90s, and failed miserably. It's one of these dumb things theorized by white people in woke spaces in universities, but fails in real life on the streets. For decades, the belief was that showing compassion for violent criminals and trying to understand them would solve the crime problem. Instead, it just enabled them, and got them back on the street faster.
Ya, you’ll have a hard to finding any law abiding citizens that live in poor/high crime neighborhoods that are calling for the defunding of police. Only people that think it’s a good idea live in good neighborhoods that don’t need a police presence. Calling for the defunding of police is one of the most privileged things I’ve ever heard.
Looks like these faggot cops need to do better at their jobs.

"We have good data that the rise in murder was happening in the early stages of the pandemic. We have good data that the rise in murder picked up in the early stages of the summer," Asher says, "and we also have good data that the rise of murder picked up again in September and October as some of the financial assistance started to wear off."
Just some leftist propaganda and here's an associated google doc...

...out of the 57 agencies LA was below average for a few percentages.
Now only 14 of those agencies are governed by R's and 7 of those were above average. Sometime around summer you should get the full picture. Only way this is a partisan issue is that big cities are more often governed by D's. It's a bit more complicated than muh defunds.
And the number one leading cause of spike in homicides is the faggotry presented by nightmarefish in this thread. Starting something with the wrong mofo for no good reason. It's just how karma works.
Sober up, fix your life and/or do whatever the fuck you need to do to function on par in this 9th tier poker forum. It's not a high standard.
