At least 4 GOP senators have said they will oppose a vote for a new justice before the election
ere is a list of four Republicans senators who have said they will oppose a vote before the election:
Maine Sen. Susan Collins told the New York Times, “I think that’s too close, I really do."
Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski in September said, "Fair is fair," and she would not vote to replace RBG before the election."
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham in October 2018 said, "If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump's term, and the primary process has started, we'll wait to the next election. And I've got a pretty good chance of being the Judiciary [Chairman]. Hold the tape."
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said in July he would follow the Biden rule, "I'm just following what was established by the Biden Rule in 1986 and then emphasized by him in 1992... They set the pattern. I didn't set the pattern. But it was very legitimate that you can't have one rule for Democratic presidents and another rule for Republican presidents."
President Clinton called Ruth Bader Ginsburg at 11:33 p.m. on June 14, 1993 to offer her Supreme Court seat. Ginsburg waited all night for the call.
Reason for late phone call: Clinton was busy watching Suns defeat the Bulls in Game 3 of NBA finals which went to triple OT #RBG
Not shocked
The rich white man is a formidable opponent and he isn't going to give up the country to the browns and gays without a fight to the death
If Trump is playing chess he nominates Merrick Garland.
What the fuck would the Dems do then?
If the shoe were on the other foot, both parties would be doing exactly the same thing.

I predict that a Trump praising asshole will get the nomination.
Always strange to watch US politics from afar. Seems RBG is another character beloved by liberals, but disliked by both conservatives and left-wingers.
the lindsey graham thing will be lol because they can't confirm a supreme court nominee without his vote.
obv he is a scumbag politician like all of them so he will just say he "changed his mind." he wasn't lying when he said it originally, of course.
i am concerned about the court packing thing. i think if roe v. wade stays the law of the land, it won't happen, even if trump gets his nominee in.
but man if they touch roe... this will get ugly
welp looks to me like theyre gonna ram one through, not worth discussing that anymore. and we move on to the shitshow...
