It wasn’t a no-knock raid. Her name was listed on the warrant, the address was correct and the boyfriend shot first.

What a totally fucked case. No win.

I mean, the address was on the warrant but the guy didn’t even live there anymore. So it’s reasonable if you’re dead ass asleep and someone knocks your door down to start shooting. Crazy part is the new boyfriend was worried it was the old boyfriend who was the cause of the warrant. It’s also just your job as a cop and you bust a door down and someone starts shooting, you assume you were serving a warrant and have one bad hombre for them to just start blasting at you.

This is one of those situations where it would require everyone to look at it from the others perspective and realize the tragedy, but not lose your mind. That’s about the last thing on anyone’s mind right now. It’s all about overreactions.
