So, I’m going to grab a quick bite for breakfast and get back into a game ASAP! See you there...

P.S. Better to pack my things before heading done and have them to go superquick when I have to leave in a few hours to get back to the truck on time...

With my bigger bankroll, I moved up to 2/3 NL. And took down the first hand bluffing preflop UTG with 85 suited. which helped pay for the blinds for this orbit.

About 40 mins in and my stack had dwindle to about $220. Added on a hundo to have a stack comparable to the two other lowest stacks at the table.

Just quadded up! But the dealer snatched my cards away before I could include them in the pic. Buuuut...

The quads qualified as a high-hand for another promotion the South Point poker room is running...

No, sir! I chunked off 20 large* at that stupid “Explosion” slot machine yesterday...

...which is my annual limit for such modes of gambing.

I was a winner of the promotion the poker room is running, which piggybacks off of that slot promotion as at a 20% payout rate of the slot jackpot prize won out on the floor.

Ooh! Ooh! An interesting hand just developed...

Got dealt A2 spades suited on the button, called the straddle bet pre along with 4 other players, and I flopped a pair of Aces with draw to the nut flush, when the raising by the two other remaining players invited me to go all-in with my $500+ stack. I’m assessed that I was most likely behind, but the draw to the nuts was irresistable as it gave me a chance to 2.5x my stack, mostly against the biggest stack at the table.

The turn was a 7 not-spade, and the river an 8, also not-spade. Which meant...

A three-way split! The 7 on the *turn was the second 7 on the board, and the 8 on the river became the high 5th card, counterfeiting the other players’ 6 in each of their hands. Which essentially amounted to me getting my stack back.

Urp! Time was up for me on this casino trip about an hour and a half ago when my dispatcher called me on my phone and told me “to GET [my] fat, lazy ass BACK to the truck... NOW! Or you’re FIRED!l!”

Actually, he said no such thing. He called me about 2 mins before the alarm I had set on my phone went off, but I was in a hand and let it go to voice mail. He left no message, so it was probably just a call to touch base, as we have an excellent working relationship and we usually chat about what kind of loads would be good for me to get maximum miles for the week. For example, he’s gotten me over 3000 miles per week almost every week since I came off home... But I digress...

So, I racked up my chips...

...cashed out about a hundo up for the day, grabbed a snack-to-go at the Seattle’s Best Coffee shop, and headed out the door for a Lyft back to the truck.

LOL! That’s exactly what I did last week to get the load that delivered in Henderson, which allowed me time for this little casino trip!

    Epilogue

I’ll be frank... I’m super glad I was one of the winners of that promotion. Because, for one, it instantly recovered me from being down $500 after my build-maniac-rep game busted out with a cooler and a suckout. And, second, it helped me completely recover from my recreational poker losses for the year, almost to the dollar!

And being more frank: I’ve been a losing rec player almost every year since I got out on the road doing trucking and stopped off at various casinos/poker rooms for a session or two when time permitted. And this short casino trip was looking like just another fail in that series of mostly fails.

And to imagine I once almost supported myself for three years grinding away in AC back in the late 2000s/early 2010s. I say “almost” because I made low five figures in each those three years, but not enough to cover my monthy nut of about $5 grand, mortage and ridic New Jersey real estate taxes include. And I didn’t adjust my living costs in that interim. Which is why I went busto...

My guess was early 70s. But he could have been once super overweight, which would explain the extra skin, and lived lived in a dry climate most his life, such as in Las Vegas or thereabouts, for his hands to have gotten like that.

But it could also be genetic. Becauee even at 60, the ladies have described my skin, including on my hands, as pleasantly very soft. Apparently, that was something my father loved about my mother, her very soft skin. So I guess I mostly inherited her skin genes.

    1. MumblesBadly has a mommy.
    2. MumblesBadly has soft, pleasant hands.

MumblesBadly, is it true? Not only are you a Matrixed out, inverse version of Gillian [Bizarro Jerry] - Some broad let you hang out in her vagina for 9 months?

But it could also be genetic. Becauee even at 60, the ladies have described my skin, including on my hands, as pleasantly very soft. Apparently, that was something my father loved about my mother, her very soft skin. So I guess I mostly inherited her skin genes.
    Hold up.

TBH, I don’t any specific memory of that event, but I was told that I only spent a relatively short term in her V-place, as I was like her 30th child or thereabouts seeing as my parents were “good” Catholics who didn’t practice any artificial birth control, my father waa apparently a super horndog, and of course there was my mother’s super seductive silky soft skin. So by the time she had me, she could pretty much pop us out of her oven when sufficiently cooked like so many poptarts.

Plus, I was apparently about 2 weeks early, so technically the whole shindig inside of her wasn’t even 9 months long.
