ATTENTION! Meet-up with the legendary MumblesBadly in Las Vegas this coming week!

If all goes well, I’ll be take a day-and-a-half off this coming Monday and Tuesday (September 7 and 8) in Las Vegas not too far from the Southpoint.

And seeing as this is an unexpected stopover in Vegas for me, I’m going to make an exception and cut the time-period I usually take in between showers down to just over a month. So that I don’t smell as bad as Annie Duke reportly has known to when at a poker table. (Or so Druff has said in a recent PFA Radio show episode.)

My plan at this point is to take some time while there to play some low-stakes NL at Southpoint, and of course make my usual donation to the sharky local players at such games of about $400-$500. No more than $700 this time. A $1000 tops!

So, if you’ll be in Vegas then and might like to meet and hear me bitch and moan about repeatedly getting sucked out on the river by some maniac, or how I just didn’t believe those players who put me all in actually had the goods, PM me and we can figure out how to meet up.

Oh, and Brandon: If you’re in town and feel like gambling on meeting another (very strange?) member from the forum, I promise to not to ask you to go grocery shopping for any cheese or whatnot for me. (I plan to to hit up a Walmart for some things to have in my cooler-on-the-truck before I get there!)

Hopefully. I told myself that I can’t go to the casino to play any poker until I post to the MumblesBadly YouTube channel a video showing all of the hands I recorded playing at Casino Del Sol (the second day only), in which I lost about $650 playing 1/2 NL for way too flipping long! But I won about $400 the previous day, so that two-day stint cost me only about a half or less of what I usually throw away at live poker games at various casinos I can take a break near when my trucking schedule allows.

Speaking if which... What the fuck am I doing wasting time on this forum! I got a video to make!!!

Flick it! I’m not denying myself the chance to have more non-jackpot-paying bad beat experiences against maniacs given I’ll be in Vegas for a day and half. The trip report video from my last poker outing can wait!

And, Brandon: I didn’t have time to stop at Walmart on the way here, but did pick up some authentic beef jerky (peppered) that should hold me over while I’m here. So no supermarket-run-to-get-cheese is expected from me this trip.

Heads up, Vegas locals! According to a local player I’m seated next to, the South Point poker room is running a double-hours special towards the big monthly tournament. Sounds like a sweet deal for low-stakes tourney junkies.

Maaaaan! Wanted a quick bite before heading for bed, and the only place open is the casino’s cafe, which had a ridiculously long line. Eff that!

Fortunately, I brought some snacks with me from the truck, including that awesome beef jerky I picked up the other day.

Oh! And I found some pieces of gourmet black licorice on the floor of the truck when I was doing a little cleaning up yesterday. Those things are flipping awesome, too.

And I brought some other goodies. Please don’t be jealous...
