Ooh! Ooh! An interesting hand just developed...
Got dealt A2 spades suited on the button, called the straddle bet pre along with 4 other players, and I flopped a pair of Aces with draw to the nut flush, when the raising by the two other remaining players invited me to go all-in with my $500+ stack. I’m assessed that I was most likely behind, but the draw to the nuts was irresistable as it gave me a chance to 2.5x my stack, mostly against the biggest stack at the table.
So, yeah, I WAS behind. Against two other players who flopped top and bottom (As and 6s)...
The turn was a 7 not-spade, and the river an 8, also not-spade. Which meant...
A three-way split! The 7 on the *turn was the second 7 on the board, and the 8 on the river became the high 5th card, counterfeiting the other players’ 6 in each of their hands. Which essentially amounted to me getting my stack back.
