Not even hiding the racism anymore
What are your thoughts on QAnon? Are you familiar with QAnon?
1600s - 1860s (almost 300 years)
"Black people are property I have the right to own. A right I will fight for"
1860s-1960s (100 years)
"Ok fine not slaves. But look how poor and uneducated they are. And the CRIME! - keep them all separate from us."
2020 (60 years later)
"I'm the least racist person you'll ever meet. Also this whole 'white privilege' thing is propaganda!!"
Trump just gave the idiots like duped_by_smollet and Jimmyg a massive red pill
Wow you’re even less informed than I thought. The book is all about “white privilege”.
It was only the best selling book in the US for weeks after the George Floyd riots and it is based on critical race theory. The book is being pushed in schools, universities and workplaces around the country. It’s the kind of poisonous divisive nonsense that Trump is getting stamped out.
Hard to talk to someone so unaware of what’s really going on.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs

Many people don't understand Critical Race Theory, and that's reasonable, because it hasn't been discussed much until fairly recently.
Of course, because it has a racial basis to it, Trump's opposition (and his recent action to end training of it in the federal government) appears to be an act of racism. It isn't. The whole thing is bullshit, and Trump was right to end it.
Here's a fairly accurate description of Critical Race Theory, from Wikipedia:
Simply put, it's a theory which basically states that any poor outcome experienced by the black community -- or even individuals within the black community -- is mostly the fault of systemic racism, and the problem must be solved from that direction.Critical race theory (CRT) is a theoretical framework in the social sciences that examines society and culture as they relate to categorizations of race, law, and power. Developed out of postmodern philosophy, it is based on critical theory, a social philosophy that argues that social problems are influenced and created more by societal structures and cultural assumptions than by individual and psychological factors. It began as a theoretical movement within American law schools in the mid- to late 1980s as a reworking of critical legal studies on race issues, and is loosely unified by two common themes. Firstly, CRT proposes that white supremacy and racial power are maintained over time, and in particular, that the law may play a role in this process. Secondly, CRT work has investigated the possibility of transforming the relationship between law and racial power, as well as pursuing a project of achieving racial emancipation and anti-subordination more broadly.
Average income in black communities is lower? Systemic racism.
Violent crime in black communities is higher? Systemic raicsm.
Lots of fathers aren't in the home in black communities? Systemic racism.
Black dude tries to rob a liquor store and shoots the Indian owner dead? Systemic racism.
It's a bunk theory which allows the left to reshape American society to a lot of its extreme desires, with the phony justification of ending systemic racism.
The problem is that that when this is taught in the workplace or government, it's not taught as a theory to simply be aware of. It's taught as fact, and if you don't go along with the dogma, you are considered racially insenstive and can be disciplined. So you have to nod your head along, pretend to agree, and repeat back what they want you to say. It's terrible.
Trump was 1000% right to get rid of this brainwashing woke nonsense.
