Bryan Piccioli, with screen name "smbdySUCKme", leads 2020 Online WSOP Main Event on GGPoker

Another embarassment for GGPoker, as a poor job of vetting screen names has allowed for someone who goes by the name "smbdySUCKme" to lead the event.

Byan Piccioli, who finished 6th in the WSOP Main in 2017, is doing well once again. He's from Pennsylvania, but traveled to play on GGPoker's WSOP, which doesn't allow people on if they are physically in the US.

In 2017, he did fade a tough spot, putting on a river beat to stay alive when all-in with 11 left:

There are 38 people left, with $3.9 million up top.

They don't return to play until Saturday. Play had a scheduled pause after August 31.

Most poker players aren't offended by the name, but news organizations are refusing to write it, aside from Pokernews (props to them).

Cardplayer, for example, will not: https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-new...ine-main-event

Yes, Cardpayer, that beacon of morality, will not write "smbdySUCKme", but knowingly advertised Lock Poker for 9 months after being reliably informed by many people that the site was a scam.

Same cardplayer that sponsored Lock Poker because they couldn't stop their contract with them. Lol

James Caan’s portrayal was typically robotic. Cancer of the bones so it’s am classic PFA story. Two thumbs up.
