My intuition is most of the outrage from the right over this show is completely manufactured and hyperbolic. But I have pretty much the same intuitions about outrage from the left on the topic of sexploitation of women. I don't think anyone really has a problem with sexploitation, and they merely use the issue cynically to further whatever agenda they support.

I cancelled Netflix this weekend because of this garbage. I see a lot of left wing liberals (some in this thread) defending this series. I assume most of you are atheist, so it doesn't surprise me. I really don't give a shit about the message. It either depicts kids inappropriately, or it doesn't.
