I thought the boob and penis jokes (and the other vulgarity) to be the weakest part of the Stern show. He was at his best when making irreverent commentary about stories of the day, or asking the tough/embarrassing questions of celebrities.

The wack packers were also a good addition to the show, including the wack pack celebrities like Tiny Tim.

Back in the early 2000s living in NJ used to listen all the time

Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf and Beetlejuice were 2 clowns but funny in the morning on the ride to work sometimes

Of all the wack pack members you choose Tiny Tim?

I bought my brother Crucified By The FCC for Christmas with one of the first checks I ever wrote, at age 13 or 14. Obv called 1-800-52-STERN to make it happen. I was also a/the guy who found Druff's clip and posted it over and over in the last decade. I will proudly do it again, because it's a goddamn classic. This is Druff's greatest phone call, bar none:

It's always dumb when stern fans whine about him changing and not being the same guy they used to listen to, as if a massively rich guy in his late 60's should sound like a struggling DJ in his early 30's.

Dead link, anyone have a current one?

    Thanks!

He was a celebrity wack packer whereas the others were unknowns.

I was a guest wack packer called “The King of All Answering Machine Hackers”
