    The worst thing is the fact that a huge company like that didn't have someone monitoring the contest to shut it down and/or remove troll/joke suggestions before they appeared on the leaderboard.

    This would be easy to stop by just updating the leaderboard once per day, and making it subject to approval before updating it.
