    Crazy Casino Stories? O.O :)

A guy playing Electric Boogaloo was excited when he got the 5 Turntable Symbol in a row(With no flame symbol). He thought he won over $2,000... He won $1.50... His excitement quickly turned to anger as the Casino refused to pay him over $2,000. He ranted that they were trying to cheat him out of his winnings and ranted that he had gotten 5 Ace Symbols and had won over $200 and now a full line of the Turntables that should pay more than 5 Aces is only $1.50? The Casino Staff and I(I play this game quite often abd even the Casino Staff pointed out I knew what I was talking about) told him that the $200+ 5 Aces(No $ Symbols) were accompanied by a Flame Symbol, no $ Symbols) we told him he needed the Turntables to show up 5 times in a row with a Flame Symbol and no $ Symbols. He was still ranting about how he was being cheated and said that I must be a Shill for the Casino, LOL... I slightly touched his screen to show him the Game Rules and he kind of trued to block me and the Casino Staff member gently stepped in in case he tried to hit me or something and gently told me that the Casino Staff had this under control but thanks for my help... The guy continued to rant and demanded they call the cops on him since he knew he was right.... Another Gambler told me,"I could see why he's upset... It does look like it says 5 turntables is over $2,000, and the "With flame and no $ is in very small print. I'd be mad too but he's really crossing the line." The police came and arrested the Angry Gambler.... Crazy....

For reaching out and touching someone else's screen, while he's in an argument with the staff over his payout no less, he should have held you down by your neck and given you a huge facial, at the very least.

Me and a buddy once drunkenly stumbled into a ballroom at an indian casino where they were having a camping and fishing trade show. We grabbed a few poles, cast them about 50 times trying to hit stuff like target practice. Then we took about 5 poles and gear each and walked through the casino and literally nobody even batted an eye.

Even I have to admit that touching the guy's screen, even to show him The Rules was out of line for me to do especially since I didn't know this guy. Luckily The Casino Staff gently stopped me...

Once saw chainsaw being screamed at and belittled by what looked like a phillipino lady who had a 5 year old kid with her.

He just looked sheepishly at me as I walked by.

    ——————-

I also met a guy who told me a story about a famous pro who lived overseas back in the day and wanted to get involved in the drug trade, the guy was pissed at said pro and said the guy owed him money, We found the pro at the WSOP exhibition hall and the pro literally ran away with his girlfriend when confronted...they supposedly made a mutually beneficial settlement and the guy went away.

    Pretty wacky.

One night in 2006ish somehow I ended up playing $1-$2 at the Imperial Palace around 3am. IP’s poker room was upstairs as you had to take an escalator and go down a hallway for some reason. And at 3am on this random night it was packed. This was back during the poker boom obv.

Anyways there were these two dudes seated at the table behind me arguing and bitching and I guess they had had enough of each other as they started brawling right there in the room. One guy was like a pre-scam bet Chinamaniac size and the other looked like a down on his luck Master Scalir.

They got to the ground pretty quick and the big guy was handling the little guy with ease; he had at least 100 lbs on him after all. The casino staff radioed for security but was just standing there watching as were all the players.

After several minutes there was still no security and the big guy started getting clearly winded. The little guy was able to finagle his way out of the big guys hold and got on top of him. By this time Dopple China was gassed. And Dopple Scalir started wailing on DC and was punishing him. At this point all DC could do to defend himself was grab one of DS’s arms and he started biting him.

Finally after what seemed like an eternity, 4 security guards came sprinting down the hallway in a line. The first one to get there dove from his full sprint to try and land on them and break up the fight. Except underestimated his momentum and sailed right past them into one of the poker tables. It was literally one of the funniest things I had ever seen in that moment. I couldn’t help but blurt out “You missed dumbass!” All the spectators were laughing at the overly ambitious security guard.

Finally the fight got broken up and the room started to settle down. The poker room manager made an announcement for everyone to take there seats and to shuffle up and deal, but instead nearly every single person grabbed their chips and made their way to the cage. Guess everyone figured it wasn’t going to get any better than what they just witnessed.

About 20 minutes later when I’m heading out to get a taxi I see both guys in handcuffs being loaded not into cop cars, but into ambulances.

    True story

In the late 90s, the Mirage was the place to play in Vegas. 20/40 limit hold’em and 7 card stud were usually the big games, and they were very juicy. One night I’m crushing the 20/40 hold’em, my wife, the tightest player in the world, is getting killed at 3/6. Every time she comes over I just grab a stack and hand it to her. She knows that what that means: get lost, I’m in a good game and I ain’t leaving.

Over at the 7 card stud table this kid was on a heater, and the guy getting torched was a 75 years old Vegas regular. The kid just kept giving the old man unmitigated shit. Finally, he’d had enough, he picked up the cane and just started wailing on the kid. He got in about 5 good shots on his noggin before security broke it up. They kicked them both out. Of course the old man was back in his chair the next night.

    2014ish.

My friends & I are playing $2/5 @ Horseshoe Cincy. We take a break and one of my friends heads to the pit games.

I follow but don't play, but he puts down $500 on a craps table and bets $25 on the small/tall/all bonus bet (He's betting a 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12 will all be rolled before a 7). It pays 1,000:1.

    He hits it for $25k.

He goes straight to the high limit room and starts betting 1-3k per hand at blackjack. Eventually he starts betting 5k.

He runs up the $25k to over $150k in the next 24 hours playing blackjack and craps.

The following week he gets fired from his 100k/year job (from calling in to gamble)....loses all 150k back to the casino, went into deep depression, and has never gambled since afaik.
