I highly doubt the Borgata even broke even on their legal fees. I’m guessing they cut their losses, maybe like a million or so.

I have seen on Facebook random people guessing Ivey paid back about half. They both wanted to stop the legal fees from wiping out the profits.

I can see at the most 3 million. If the reports are true that the appeals were looking good for Ivey I can’t see the dude coughing up 5.

I highly doubt Ivey had to pay back much but he also lost a ton of money fighting both cases would be my guess.

The Borgata paid him out and once they realized the Crockfords casino held his money Borgata came after Ivey who won the money he did at Borgata over several months time beating terms they agreed to give him.

Ivey didn't physically bring anything into the casino to cheat them he knew about the cards imperfections and by them using these cards along with giving him these terms I'm not sure why this took so long he should have been banned like a card counter and allowed to keep his money at the very worst.

The casinos should chop this up as a learning experience where they fucked up giving him the terms they did plain and simple.

disagree with sentiment here; odds are borgata's attorneys were working on contingency, so they wouldn't settle cheaply. probably 1/2.
