Peter Lenkov was the guy at CBS in charge of the reboots of "Hawaii Five-0", "Magnum PI" and "MacGyver".
Of the three, I only watched Five-0, which ran for 10 seasons and just ended in May.
Lenkov was recently fired despite a year left on his contract, and despite performing well regarding finishing shows on time, on budget, and doing fairly well in the ratings.
Here's a very critical Vanity Fair article about him, and the reasons he got fired: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood...cbs-showrunner
Interestingly, Lenkov is NOT accused of sexual harassment, physical assault, or any other crime. While there are some light sexism/racism allegations against him, it more seems that he was a jerk to a wide variety of people, including straight white males. He was basically fired for being an asshole (which I believe he was).
Whether he really was unbearable, or whether he was just strict and temperamental in a tough industry, is somewhat in question.
