WSOP Online Series (Fails and Positives)

I think with the online series starting today it deserves it's own thread.

Fail #1 that I've ran into:

I've played on the site often living in Las Vegas, I tried to login today and get a message that "Remote access has been detected, please turn off any remote access in order to properly verify your location"

I've removed Teamviewer and Google remote access. Both of these have been on my computer for a long time and have never given me issues.

I use windows remote desktop for my work but that was not running at the time.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a ATT mobile hot spot with 5 GB free and then $10 for every 5 after that. I have no idea how much a poker tournament would take.
I also don't really understand how an ISP works. I tested it at home to see if when I have it on it reports a different ISP than my home WIFI. It does.

I live in NOCAL so I'm debating whether to go to Reno or Tahoe just to experience this historic event. This might be the only time it ever happens. (I hope!) I'd rather just go to LV but I don't want to fly and the drive seems too long. My wife wants to play some too. She has an account but has never had money in it. As far as I can tell, you can only do Cash at the Cage in Las Vegas, not Reno or Tahoe. It also looks like I can't transfer money from my account to hers. I've had no problem using Paypal for making small test deposits ($100). I'm just about convinced I have almost no shot to win due to collusion, bots, etc. but I've spent $800 on dinner and a play on Broadway so why not?

(with a little more than 5 hours to go before kickoff there are 87 registered for event #1)

Regarding deposits....In New Jersey I have used Pay Near Me to deposit. You can deposit $10 - $500 per day at most CVS or 7-11. It is really easy and quick. WSOP gives you a bar code when you request and the cashier scans it, you pay and less then 20 minutes later the money is in your account.

In addition, your hotspot should work fine with 5GB. Just keep it to the tournament and nothing else.

Matusow’s rant included threats of physical and sexual assault and the eventual doxxing of the player in question.

“This motherfucker, ‘wolverine17‘, I’m gonna fuck him right in his fucking ass man, right in his fucking ass. Mark that name down, ‘wolverine17’,” Matusow told those watching his Twitch stream, not realizing the player was a female.
