This was a pretty boneheaded mistake, and I hope they fix it soon.
My friend Jeanne David, who is a good O8 (Limit Omaha 8-or-Better) player, was looking forward to playing the announced $1k O8 tournament at this year's online WSOP. She lives in Vegas, so it's easy for her to play these.
Let's look at July 28. It's supposed to be an O8 event (limit):
Now let's look at what's actually on wsop.com for July 28:
They have the wrong event running! It should be LIMIT O8, not Pot Limit O8!
Anyone gonna fix this?
Can you imagine how pissed people will be when they sign up for what they think is Limit O8, spend $1000, and get plopped down in PLO8?
