This is a quick interview of Dan Abrams on Mediaite giving a horrible explanation of why the tape of the pursuit which ended in the death of Javier Ambler was never aired and ultimately destroyed by Live PD. This site is actually owned by Abrams and how he can explain how this tape was not preserved following a fatality boggles the mind. No excuse to destroy that tape that’s for sure. I’m no lawyer but even if the tape was not requested formally this sounds like clear spoliation of evidence to me. Very disappointing and makes me even more glad this show is done.
How can any investigation be thorough without seeing what’s on that tape? Even if they got a lot from the body cams the more video the better.
