I’m shocked that there was any sentiment out there that wasn’t sure he was gay. I have always assumed he was gay. Even when I liked him and found him like a colorful character out of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil before he took his latest of many heel turns, I just thought everyone accepted he was gay. How he procures men is of little relevance to me. I don’t find it any scandal for a single guy to be obviously gay forever and have it finally come out.

for a man who pays rough trade to plow him while voting against every relevant civil rights proposal for gays brings up the very real possibility that he's being blackmailed, or is simply so terrified of his identity becoming common knowledge that he's willing to undermine the health and well being of millions of gay americans to protect his interests.
