    Taking a flight next week

I gotta earn. Gotta say I am a little nervous. I am more concerned about myself, in that if some muther fucker coughs on me I might beat the shit out of him. Has anyone flown yet? I already have the shakes thinking about wearing a mask for 2 hours straight.

When you factor in time in the airport I canít imagine taking a short flight. Just drive.

Yeah, most 2 hour flights, as stated in the OP, are definitely driveable. I drive from Edmonton to Seattle every 2nd day.

It's an 11.5 hour drive, I might just do that and break it up into two days. I basically suffer from claustrophobia which I can mitigate through a couple drinks on a flight. The issue is the mask. I put one on today as a test and I did not even make it 10 minutes before a panic attack set in.

When he said 2 hour of wearing mask I assumed that was not duration of flight but included at very least waiting to get on and off plane. If itís a two hour flight be prepared to wear that mask much longer....

Try to get a professional medical mask. Even if just disposable. I have to wear one 8 hours a day. The cloth ones I can barely make it one hour but the light disposable ones much better.

I was given cloth masks to try out at work in case they become mandatory. I attempted to wear it anytime I was out of my office & couldn't do it because it either set off a panic attack or an asthma attack fairly quickly. I'm leaning towards an asthma attack because I've never had an issue wearing an SCBA although it's been awhile.

We just received some of those blue surgical masks & will have to try them out to see if they do the same thing. I'm guessing they will if it's due to my asthma.

Yeah, my wife ordered a batch from Amazon. The cloth mask is just not feasible. I literally have a hard time breathing, and I could not get to the 10 minute mark without ripping it off. I might just rent a car and drive it. What sucks is the contractor will not reimburse anything other than a mid size car (which I would never rent) and no satellite radio either. So I am fucked out of a couple hundred bucks. Looks like I will have to finesse in a couple more billable hours.
